Work-from-home (WFH) arrangements are becoming more common in offices, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, stay-at-home directives were frequently enforced to reduce the virus's spread, which caused a quick transition for many organizations to WFH arrangements.

In many businesses, around 8% of workers worldwide were working remotely. over 34% of workers have shifted to working from home (WFH) since March 2020. Even after the epidemic, several companies are already considering making WFH setups an ongoing fixture. The idea of work-life balance in today's environment has been redefined by this change. Working remotely and handling work and family duties has become a personal challenge as well as an important skill set for promoting employee wellbeing and accelerating business performance.

For example, because of the structure and assistance provided by an office, productivity may increase there, but it may also decrease due to distractions. Working remotely can offer a number of benefits, including the chance to look for a fulfilling career and spend quality time with loved ones.
